Founded in 2020, the firm has experience with a wide range of building types including commercial, education, government, and institutional.
The firm is led by Sara Arfaian, AIA, an award winning architect with over 10 years experience working in NYC on large-scale international projects. Before joining her father to form Arfaian Architects, Sara worked in several leading firms, including Bernard Tschumi Architects and Gensler, designing and building museums, government headquarters, and international airports.
After graduating from Cornell University with a B.Arch, Sara earned her Masters in Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. She is licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
